Warehouse Associate
Warehouse Associates play a vital role in the supply chain, managing the flow of goods within a warehouse environment. They are responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products efficiently and safely. This position suits individuals who are detail-oriented, physically active, and comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced environment.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will handle incoming and outgoing shipments, pick and pack orders, organize inventory, and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Attention to detail and accuracy is key when labeling and tracking products. You will also help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Warehouse work may involve shift hours, including evenings and weekends. The job can be physically demanding, requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. It’s a great entry point for those seeking long-term roles or advancement into logistics and warehouse management.
- Receiving, unpacking, and organizing shipments
- Picking and packing products according to order specifications
- Operating warehouse equipment (training provided)
- Performing regular inventory checks
- Loading and unloading trucks or containers
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse
- Following safety procedures and reporting hazards
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic math and reading skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long hours
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with inventory systems is a plus
- Average hourly wage: $17 to $21 CAD
- Overtime and performance bonuses may apply
- Full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions available
- Two years’ Work Permit and apply for Immigrationunder the Agri Pilot Program OR PNP after 1 year of Canadian experience.
