Factory Worker
Factory Workers support manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating machinery, and ensuring quality control in a production setting. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a structured, team-oriented environment.
As a Factory Worker, you’ll be involved in various stages of the manufacturing process, from assembling parts to packaging finished goods. You will be expected to maintain high standards of quality, follow safety protocols, and work efficiently to meet production targets. Depending on the employer, you may operate machinery, conduct inspections, or perform manual labor.
Factory environments are typically indoors, and may include standing, repetitive tasks, and working near machinery. Shifts may vary, including nights and weekends, especially in high-production periods.
- Operating manufacturing equipment and tools
- Assembling components on a production line
- Performing quality checks and sorting defective products
- Cleaning and maintaining workstations and tools
- Following production schedules and instructions
- Reporting issues to supervisors or quality control teams
- No formal education required; training provided
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of workplace safety and PPE usage
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25-50 lbs
- Previous factory experience is an advantage
- Average hourly wage: $16 to $20 CAD

- Two years’ Work Permit and apply for Immigrationunder the Agri Pilot Program OR PNP after 1 year of Canadian experience.
