Housekeeper
Housekeepers maintain cleanliness and order in hotels, private residences, or commercial properties. This role is suited for individuals who are organized, meticulous, and enjoy creating tidy and welcoming spaces.
As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities include making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and ensuring bathrooms and living areas are spotless. In hospitality settings, you’ll also be responsible for restocking amenities and reporting any maintenance issues. Housekeepers must manage their time efficiently and pay close attention to detail to meet cleanliness standards.
This role involves physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Schedules may include weekends and holidays, especially in hospitality settings.
- Cleaning rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms
- Changing linens and making beds
- Dusting and vacuuming carpets and furniture
- Washing floors and windows
- Replenishing toiletries and supplies
- Reporting damage or maintenance needs
- No formal education required
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow checklists and routines

- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Average hourly wage: $15 to $18 CAD
- Tips may be included in hospitality roles

- Two years’ Work Permit and apply for Immigrationunder the Agri Pilot Program OR PNP after 1 year of Canadian experience.
