Civil Engineer
Civil Engineers plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, buildings, and water systems. They ensure that structures are safe, functional, and environmentally sustainable.
Civil Engineers are involved in the full lifecycle of construction and public works projects. They begin by conducting site assessments and feasibility studies. They then create detailed blueprints and technical drawings, taking into account legal regulations, environmental impact, and budget constraints. Civil Engineers collaborate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects meet specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
Their role includes overseeing construction activities, performing site inspections, managing resources, and troubleshooting design or structural issues. Civil Engineers must also ensure that health and safety regulations are strictly followed on-site.
