As a Textile Mechanic, your role is crucial in maintaining productivity and reducing downtime in textile production facilities. You will troubleshoot mechanical faults, perform regular maintenance, replace worn-out components, and calibrate machines for optimal performance. This role demands technical know-how in mechanical systems, attention to detail, and an understanding of textile machinery such as looms, carding machines, and spinning frames. Working environments can be noisy and fast-paced, requiring strong time management skills and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain textile machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

Requirements
- Diploma or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or textile machinery
- 2+ years of experience in a textile or industrial manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostics
- Physical stamina and ability to work in shift-based environments
