Job Description
As a Medical Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering radiation treatments to patients, using specialized equipment to target cancerous cells. Your duties include preparing patients for treatment, explaining procedures, and positioning them accurately to ensure effective treatment. You will also monitor patient reactions, maintain treatment records, and collaborate with oncologists and other medical professionals to plan and assess treatment strategies.

Requirements
- Degree in Radiation Therapy or Medical Radiation Technology
- Registered with the appropriate regulatory body
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment and handle sensitive patient information
Wages
Average hourly wage: $30 to $45 NZD
Annual salary: $65,000 to $85,000 NZD
