Job Description
As an Arborist, you will assess the health of trees, perform pruning and trimming, remove hazardous trees, and maintain tree health in urban, suburban, and rural environments. You’ll work both in the field and using specialized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tree assessments and health evaluations
- Prune, trim, and remove trees as necessary
- Apply pesticides or treatments to control diseases
- Recommend tree planting and maintenance strategies
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Requirements
- Arborist certification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of tree care, pruning techniques, and diseases
- Ability to operate tree removal and maintenance equipment
- Physical fitness for outdoor work
