Horticulturists design, implement, and maintain gardens, landscapes, and agricultural environments. They conduct research to improve plant growth and manage crops for commercial or recreational purposes. You will assess soil conditions, recommend fertilizers, ensure proper irrigation, and control pests to promote healthy plant development. Horticulturists work in diverse settings such as public gardens, greenhouses, farms, and botanical research centers.

Requirements

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Wages
Average hourly wage: $20 to $35 NZD
