Job Brief
As a Grocery Store Clerk, you will ensure that shelves are well-stocked and tidy, assist with inventory management, and provide customer service by helping shoppers locate items or answering questions. Clerks may also operate cash registers, handle returns, or help in departments like produce, dairy, or bakery.
Shift flexibility is often required, and the role involves standing, lifting, and walking throughout the store for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves and rotating products
- Assisting customers with product inquiries
- Maintaining cleanliness in aisles and store areas
- Operating the cash register or handling transactions
- Checking for expired products and replacing damaged goods
- Assisting in receiving and unloading deliveries
Detailed Tasks
- High school diploma preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift moderate weight and stand for long hours
- Flexibility with shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Retail or customer service experience is a plus
Wages
- Average hourly wage: $15 to $17 CAD

Requirement
- Two years’ Work Permit and apply for Immigrationunder the Agri Pilot Program OR PNP after 1 year of Canadian experience.
- Education - Minimum High School
- Experience - 1+ years
- IELTS - Overall 4.0
Salary
$15 to $17 CAD / hourly
