Job Description
As an HR Manager, you will handle the recruitment process, from job postings and interviewing to hiring employees. You will develop strategies for employee retention, performance management, and create policies that support the company’s culture and goals. You will also advise managers on best HR practices, handle employee relations, and ensure compliance with labor laws. Additionally, HR Managers are responsible for managing the organization’s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and meet employee needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring
- Develop and implement employee policies and training programs
- Advise management on employee relations and performance issues
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Oversee employee compensation, benefits, and rewards programs
- Resolve conflicts and improve workplace culture and morale
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and performance management
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Experience with HR software and tools
Wages
Average hourly wage: $40 to $60 NZD
Annual salary: $75,000 to $100,000 NZD
